Earned achievement: You have earned an achievement!
Almost everyone has heard about the achievement system that will be introduced in the next patch for WoW. Some of these include things like…
- Equipping x pieces of superior quality armor
- Killing a raid boss.
- Getting all the Brewfest Regalia
… and so forth. Pretty much anything you can conceivably DO in the game has an achievement attached to it.
As I was browsing the PTR forums earlier today, I noticed Maaven has set up a new theme in his/her signature.
Fake Achievements Pt. 2:
The One: Dodge 100 Projectiles.
Banhammah’d: Earn the ire of Maaven.
My Milkshake: Buff 500 different characters without moving.
This reminded me of a conversation I had with some friends of mine when the achievements system was first announced about some additions we thought they should make. Our list included a ton of stupid stuff like…
“Achievement earned: You’ve cast your first spell!”
“Achievement earned: This is your first spirit run!”
“Achievement earned: You fell to your death!”
Our list eventually would up ending with “Achievement earned: You took a joke too far!” >.>
What silly, stupid, and awesome additions would you make to the achievement system?

Achievement: Punk in Drublic - Drink enough alcohol to become [Smashed], then /dance (male Forsaken only?)
Achievement: This is my BOOMstick! (Hunter only) - Solo a CoT instance with only a gun and a single 1h weapon equipped. /say “Hail to the King, baby.”
Achievement: I’ll Get You My Pretty - Initiate PvP while mounted on a broomstick
Achievement: And Your Little Dog, Too! - Kill an opponent’s pet in PvP
Achievement: The Truffle Shuffle - /dance with an Ogre
Achievement: Grizz - Survive a fall of 35 yards or higher. Naked.

Achievement: Overhealing - Heal a 10 man Instance four times - on four separate characters.
Achievement title “The Careful” - Leveled from 70 to 80 without dying.

Achievement: The Cheesemonger - Eat every type of cheese available in the game.
Achievement: All The Squirrels I’ve Killed Before - (a companion to the /love achievement) - KILL one of each type of critter.
Achievement: Wall Street Guru : Earn 10,000 gold PROFIT from auction house transactions. Reward is the last name title “Moneybags”
Achievement: Disco Inferno : /dance with every race.

Beautiful Loser - Roll a natural 1 on a loot roll. And WIN the item.

Iron Man/Woman: Earn 100 badges in 12 hours
Man/Woman of Steel: Earn 100 emblems in 12 hours
Limbo Bimbo: Kill Prince Malchazaar with 45 or more points in: a) arms, b) fury, c) prot [customised by class]
Limbo Adept/Master/Loon: as above for Kael’thas, Illidan and Kil’jaeden
8 lives: Survive an encounter worth XP where you were reduced to 1 hp.
Metermaid: Finish a L80 heroic with a 20% lead on the overall damage or heal meter. [hard to implement obviously, and tanks would probably - hopefully - have to respec]
Iron Cannon: Finish a L80 heroic 5man with 35% or more of damage taken and 40% or more of damage done. [might need some numbers tuning, probably cheatable]
He ain’t heavy: Finish a L80 heroic 5man with 90% or more of damage taken, 40% of damage done and 40% of healing done. [without committing homicide afterwards]
Pacifist: Make no HKs for (90/180/365) days.
Ready, Set, AFK: Finish a L80 normal 5man with 90% or more of healing done, without casting Flash Heal, Greater Heal, LHW, HW, FoL, HL, Regrowth, Nourish or Healing Touch. [tough for paladins] [I once did an Arca keyrun with 90%+ PoM. True story]
Part Troll: Spend 24 hours /played in the Ironforge trenches.
Old School: Complete all classic dungeons solo.
Burning Route: Complete all burning crusade dungeons solo.
Indecisive: Drop a level 450 profession 5 times. [I know someone who just can't decide between engineering or enchanting]
Stylin’: Obtain all the Stylin’ hats.
Classic Style: Obtain a full set of T1, T2 or T3.
Crusader Style: Obtain a full set of T4, T5 or T6.
Style King: Obtain a full set of T7, T8 or T9.
Party Monster: Obtain the DISCO Ball, Flame Chick, Piccolo of the Flaming Fire [etc]
Swinger: Hit L80 with two different classes
Altitis: Hit L80 with five different classes
Altoholic: Hit L80 with ten different classes
Committed Swinger: Kill [equiv of Illidan] with two different classes
Altitis Survivor: with 5
… And Proud: with 10 [title: , Master of All]
Unencumbered: Possess 16+5*22 bag slots [a tease of DnD]
Private Vault: Possess 154 bank slots [more if wrath brings 24+ slot bags]

All in a days work: complete 25 daily quests in a day
You don’t need no stinking badges: spend 650 badges of justice (or wotlk lvl 80 equiv)
Day Trader: earn 50% return on epic item bought and then resold on the AH
Clearing House: recieve 100 items from other accounts and send 100 items to other accounts via in-game mail
Summons merit badge: use summoning stone 2 times and clear a related dungeon a total of 10 times.
Raid Nanny: trade consumables to 5 different raiders within a raid instance a total of 10 times

I would love to see “Dragon Slayer” for killing all of the old world dragons.

Follow the Bouncing Elf: Bounce 50 elves out of Crossroads.
Wine Cellar: Carry 25 different bottles of booze at one time.
Cat Call: Lure a cat out of hiding at least once a day for five consecutive days.
Masta Mixa: Server a drink to 25 people in 15 seconds.
Lord/Lady of the Totem: Bounce an elf from Crossroads, incite an entire town to dancing in the street, and sample 5 bottles of booze in one sitting.
